Objectifs

The Alpha Plus Group’s choice of name and motto 'the gold standard in education' signifies their commitment to maintaining the very highest standards in each of their schools, and colleges. Alpha Plus combines traditional values that are at the heart of their philosophy with the very best practices in modern education. They want to inspire a love of learning in all of their children and prepare them for future success.

Profil

The Alpha Plus Group was founded in 1931 and currently comprises twenty independent schools and colleges, Lyn Fry Associates and the Best Practice Network. Alpha Plus schools and colleges exist to meet the diversity of need each of our children present. Our teachers use traditional methods and systems alongside modern approaches with new and emerging technology, in a blend that is unique to each school. The Alpha Plus Group values are:

• Parents are more than customers, they are key partners in delivering quality education
• Pupils are at the heart of all our decision making
• We will be uncompromising in delivering the highest quality for education
• The management of the group are committed to personal excellence and continual improvement of its employees.
• The group will make employees, parents, pupils and customers proud to be associated with it

Résultats

The schools and colleges within the group have developed a longstanding reputation for delivering premium quality education. Not only are our schools highly successful in helping young people achieve their destination school or university choice but results of independent inspections and evaluations all offer prime indicators of the success we achieve.

Inspections of both the Independent Schools Inspectorate and Ofsted have endorsed the performance of schools and colleges in the Alpha Plus Group noting high levels of pastoral care, high teaching standards, and results in the National Curriculum Tests which often far exceed the national average. One of the Alpha Plus Schools, DLD College, has even been awarded the Good Schools Guide Award for best A Level English Results (boys).
