Profile
Devereux is a non-profit organization providing services around the nation for persons with emotional, developmental & educational disabilities. Through our service offerings, we have day schools for children and adolescents with special needs, including autism services.
In addition, Devereux has a continuum of care for children, adolescents and adults, ranging from residential and day treatment programs, community-based group homes, respite care programs, hospital inpatient and outpatient settings, partial hospitalization, transitional living arrangements, supervised apartments, foster care homes. As well, Devereux offers family counselling and therapy, preventive and post-discharge services, after care programs, and vocational and pre-vocational training.

Results
Devereux is one of the nation's largest non-profit providers of behavioural healthcare for individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities, behavioural disorders and mental illness. We serve more than 15,000 individuals annually at 15 centers in 11 states.
The goals for clients vary depending on diagnosis. For clients with a mental health diagnosis, the goal is a discharge to a less restrictive environment or family re-integration. For clients with an intellectual/developmental disability, the goal is community integration. For all clients, our overall goal is client and family satisfaction.
