The mission of Corporación Educacional de la Construcción (Educational Corporation of the Construction Sector) is to provide an integral education at all levels, principally in qualifications across the construction sector and its related industries, to socially vulnerable Chilean students, inspired by the principles and values of the Chilean Chamber of Construction.
Profile
The Corporación Educacional de la Construcción (COREDUC) is a private, non-profit institution that provides technical-professional education with the aim of forming workers of high moral and labour quality in the diverse specialties and levels that exist in the construction sector.
At COREDUC, we view education as the development of the person in their entirety, as a being of mind and body; free, singular and irreplaceable; bestowed with intelligence and free will; called to better themselves and their community.
The technical-professional education that we offer aims to develop students by uniting employers and schools in the common objective of unlocking the future of our students, merging the realities of work with the daily routine of education, from a modern and integrated perspective whose ultimate goal is to allow our students to become qualified with the necessary attitudes and abilities to continue learning and bettering themselves throughout their lives.
Ultimately, the distinctive hallmark of the education we provide is the formation of youth with a strong entrepreneurial spirit, supported by a healthy self-esteem and the values of a proper work ethic.
Results
Evaluation holds a privileged position at COREDUC. We believe that in order to progress and develop as an institution, regular and systematic review of our results is fundamental; doing so without restricting such processes to only one agent, as is often the case with educators.
As a consequence, we have developed several measures for constant evaluation of the following areas:

• The quality of professional development among staff
• Organization quality
• Tests in Technical Theory
• Diagnostic and Semestral Corporate Tests
• National SIMCE examinations
