Mission

The mission of Corporación Educacional Aprender (‘Learn’ Education Corporation) is to provide an education of excellence that allows students living in sectors of high social vulnerability to overcome poverty, expand their opportunities and improve life in their own communities.

Profile

Aprender is a private, non-profit Chilean institution that aims to provide quality education to those sectors of the population living with scarce resources. We are committed to the formation of enterprising graduates with a solid foundation in values and technical-professional skills, so as to allow them to successfully manage both life and work, contributing to the development of their community and their country.

We educate through Christian values in order to form persons who will exert a positive influence on society. We believe in dignity and in the ability to develop each human being, using education as the fundamental instrument to enable the development of a democratic, pluralistic, and integrated society.

At the same time, we firmly believe that all students can learn and develop their talents if they receive the necessary support to do so.

Results

Our educative community is centered on the learning achievements of our students. To this end, we founded an Institutional Evaluation System for the ongoing assessment of our students through standardized exams, including the national SIMCE examinations, in addition to the employment of our own experts in a wide-range of subjects as well as external support programs for both teachers and students.
